Just wanted to say hi to whatever friends and family are occasionally checking in on me here. I spent the past three months traveling. I spent a month in Argentina, a month and a half in New Zealand, and a few weeks in California. I went to New Zealand in January to visit my brothers who live there. Following are a few photos from New Zealand.

Auckland, with a population of 2 million, is New Zealand’s largest city.

The city reminded me of Seattle. It’s got a big tower in the middle of it, called the Sky Tower, which looks similar to Seattle’s Sky Needle.

Looking down from the sky tower, you can see the whole city.

Like Seattle, Auckland is a port city, with a fairly concentrated downtown population.

I made some new friends in Auckland and we traveled up the coast together.
